Most beef at a grocery store has passed through a rancher, a backgrounder, a feedlot, a packing plant, a distributor, a wholesaler, and a retailer before it reaches your plate. By the time it gets to you, the people who raised it are long out of the picture. At Lazy E Cattle Co. we cut that chain down to two steps. We buy directly from local ranchers we know and trust, background and finish the cattle ourselves, and sell directly to you as cut and wrapped beef. No middlemen, no mystery.
Our cattle are raised antibiotic-free and hormone-free, grass-grown on pasture through the summer, fed hay and silage through the winter, and grain-finished for the flavour and marbling that makes the difference on your plate. That's not a marketing line — it's just how we do it.
